mujRozhlas (myRadio)

mujRozhlas is an ultimate HbbTV audio platform provided by the the czech public radio broadcaster Český Rozhlas. The service is free of charge and is distributed DTH via DVB-T and satellite distribution. It is national wide service. Whole mujRozhlas is pivotal OTT audio-on-demand project available via browser and mobile application. On December 2021, Český Rozhlas has launched the interactive portal on its radio channels via DTH. This highly innovative project aims to perfectly interconnect radio services, TV distribution and interactivity with the help of HbbTV technology. Application was created by Hybrid Company.

Description

mujRozhlas is complex audio portal based on HbbTV technology providing multiple services. It provides both Livestreaming and Audio On Demand approaches for seamless user experience. Application includes 10 nationwide free live radio channels including no. 1 channel Radiožurnál and 14 regional live channels with EPG. Then, platform provides massive video archive and several Audio-On-Demand categories including podcasts, shows, kids content, audiobooks and others. Last but not least portal includes several additional features such as search, sign-in module in order to personalize and recommend content to the end users, among others. mujRozhlas is highly innovative HbbTV service for the Public Radio Broadcaster.

Impact

Application is at disposal on all 8 radio channels via DVB-T2. The distribution covers about 90% HbbTV population. Each month tens of thousands users visits the portal while average time spend in the service is around 35minutes. The most favourite categories are livestreaming, shows and kids content.
